Sticky Pistons

I just purchased a very nice late CL77 the one with chrome fenders and Burnt Orange tank and side covers. The problem is STUCK PISTONS. I have taken the head off, and done the mystery oil thing. I have also smacked the pistons a few times with a wooden 2x2. NOTHING! I know that 305s are ver prone to...

What is special about a CA78 Dream?

I just purchased a 305 Dream that looks like any other late model Honda Dream, but the frame number is CA78 while the engine number is CA77E (like ussual).

Was this a police bike or something? Why the 78 instead of 77?

Please help.

What year is my Dream?

:?: I have a very early C72 dream, but the frame and engine numbers confuse me. Frame C72-62-212373 Engine C72E-2113236 This is the bike with the frog-eye tank, square turn signals and the pressed steel handlebars. The frame appears to be a 1962 (?) But the motor has to many numbers for an early bik...

Rusted tranny

:?: I have a 1961 250 Dream. This is the motor with the weird round vent on the top of the cases. The problem is that the engine bottom end is a rusted mess inside. Question: Will later 250 /350 parts fit in the 1961 cases? the bike has matching frame and motor numbers so I want to keep it all the s...
