Engine Oil Seals & Engine Case Question

Does anyone package engine oil seals for the CB/CL 72/77? I lived too long and ran out! What is the consensus on using the bottom case from a CL-77 on a CL-72? Never had to do it in all these years, but might have to on this one. I have plenty of cases to choose from if it makes a difference. TIA to...

Thanks for the ID and comments, Ed. I did find another side stand. I think it to be identical to the one on E-Bay. It had been broken and welded at the mounting bracket. Also, the shaft that holds the rubber bumper had been reduced in length by a hacksaw. Would not make a good paper weight. I don't ...

Ed,

Here it is.

As I stated earlier, it is from a late, chrome fender, Super Hawk. No idea if the side stand was original to that model.

TIA for any information.

Ed,

The old stand needs a bit of cleaning before I can photo. I'll work on it.

I seem to remember another side stand in all the plunder. Will also have a look for that.

Tnx

Ed,

I have a similar, but not identical, side stand that I removed from my '67 Super Hawk rider.

This one carries an NT (made in Japan) marking.

Just curious about it, as I never liked the things.

All the best,

WOW!

I have two identical sets. Been saving one set for the old Super Hawk. At these prices, the second set may have to go.

Cates Honda

LM, Finally made contact with Kenny, and traded e-mails for several days. Got caught up on many of the players involved with the Cates Honda over the years. Most are still kicking. Looks like I may get to see the bike again at the VJMC Rally later this year and meet Kenny at the AHRMA races at Linco...
