kickstarter removal

brake pedal is off , kick start arm is off just need to remove the mount for kick pedal off the spline?

right side cover removal

Just got the last of the very corroded screws removed from the rt. side cover and the kick starter pedal removed as well but the spline shaft part of the pedal does not want to move ! I need to remove it to remove the cover. Does it require a special puller? Any help would be great. THANKS.

still stuck

tried t o remove cam tensioner and it will not disengage. all four mountbolts removed and all it does is hinge back on the plunger. Remove the adhustment nuts on the vavles and still no cam and or chain movement?? Don't want to cut it without another one to replace it in hand iwhich i know is going ...

BIG THANKS to all that answerd by call out for help with my stuck engine. I do believe that mike from out west had the better of the ideas. I did not want to cut anything i did not a replacement for in hand i.e. a cam chain. I'll keep you all posted on how it turn out. For now i nurseing a very sore...

I knew the engine was stuck when i picked up my free barn find but i've been soking it for more that a week now with marvel mystery oil and still no movement! I can't move the crank which connects to the cam for rotation to find the cam masterlink to remove the head. Any ideas out there? I'am as stu...

Rt. side engine cover has a large common head cover just below the clutch cable which i'am tring to disconnect. Question is while i'am awaiting my shop manual , is does it thread off or pry off? and whats the bolt along side it for. i loosed it up to much and heard something drop inside which i can ...
