repo badges

Just got new badges for my Dream and they are very nice. $55.00 from RRHByrne@aol.com.
Mine say 300 Dream and they have cb/cl 72, ca 72 dream 250, cb/cl 77 and early 450 badges as well.
I am very happy with them. As you can see from my picture I need a Horn.

I'll have to look it up but I thought it was 22. What is the symptom of improper float level other than spill over if the needle valve won't seat? What do you mean Keyster will make you run rich? Are the jets too big? What is my alternative? I live and ride at 5000 ft.
Thanks for the input.

Why didn't I think of that when I rebuilt the carb? Oh well, I have dealt with Ohio Cycle that's a good idea.
Thanks

misses under a load

So my 63 Dream was running just barely. Missed severely with any more than minimal throttle. Plugs were carbon black. I lowered the slide needle one step at a time until its a low as possible. Did I mention that I live a 5000 feet. This seemed to help quite a lot. When I pull a hill however, it miss...

I can't believe what I found. The hot wire to my horn(which dose not even work)was the offender. The insulating cover at the connector had slid back and would on/off touch the adj. nut int he middle of the throttle cable. My bad!

Thanks so much for this tip. I'll dig out an old Harley headlight. I suspect that the intermittant short is in the handlebars as this first occured when I touched the horn button. Now it just happens when it happens. The wiring harness is new but that doesn't mean the connections are all tight as me...
