Thanks very much for your reply - I did have a look at how it came apart but did not have enough courage to bend the bezle back but will have a go next week. It also needs a new dial face overlay which I have seen on Ebay. I will try slackening the cable connectors off also to see if that helps. Wil...

Hi - have just got my 1962 CB72 restored and running after sitting in somebody's garage for the last 20 years and the speedo and revcounter are doing the same thing i.e. going crazy - did you fix yours Masonmart?
G-Man - how difficult are these to strip down and restore?
