Sprockets-Gearing ?

Apologies if this has been discussed previously, but a "re-fresh" for the new kids might be nice ? What is the definitive sprocket ratio/sizing on a CL77 for a comfortable 65-70mph cruising speed, please ??
Has anyone thrown different tyre sizing into the equation too ?

Chesterfield....Splendid !! We should try a half way meet up for a brew (taylor_ad@yahoo.com)
The 10mph per 1000 rpm equates to the factory spec...but with no revcounter, tricky to tell.
I'm guessing 90mph is extremely optimistic !!

I'm not after a "rocket", just an easy 60mph cruising speed. I had a friend ride with me to check out my speedo accuracy,...

Thanks Loud Mouse....all help appreciate. I have a reprint owners manual for CB72/CB77....I presume points & tappets settings will be the same as CL77 ??
It says points 0.12-0.16 & tappets 0.004 (set cold)....how's that sound ?

Thankyou for taking the time to reply, appreciate that. Yes, we're talking MPH...but I don't can't vouch for the accuracy of the speedo. The bike I bought is a beautiful resto, but the previous owner did minimal mileage on it & it was a bit of a "show pony". I'm waiting on a clymer manual to arrive ...
