I have a 65 305 dream, I had to replace the clutch perch so I take apart the start button case to put new on when I put it back together I turn on the key and the starter turns over without pushing button.? Thanks model man for the information I feel kinda stupid and not paying closer attention when I was removing the rear wheel assembly I'll give that a try Monday evening see what happens thanks again. Mike
