I tightened the spring inside the R/S cover so that I could align the two gears 0 marks. Once I let go, of course, the spring unwinds. On the outside of the R/S cover, I align the start shaft mark with the kick start lever mark. Now, to install the R/S cover, must I tighten the spring (pre-load), us...

Carb rebuild kit warning

Several sellers on Ebay are offering a Napco rebuild kit, marked for a CB 72/77. Kit #11-H0018. What they don't say is that the slow jet (35), main jet (100, 105 and 160) and jet needle are for a 72, not a 77. The gaskets and other parts will work for both a 72 and 77.
