I guess I should go ahead and get them. If anything I might reuse some of the original carb parts, but I know of no other company who makes them at the moment.

Keyster kits?

What is the overall consensus on these kits? Are they reliable? Anyone have any other recommendations for rebuild kits?

Thanks in advance,

Erik

thanks for the reply. Rats, so it looks like if I'm leaking oil out of that seal, it could be the casing, huh?

Right-side gasket?

Hey folks

On a '65 SuperHawk, is there a _large_ gasket on the right hand side (similar to the left-hand side)? All the diagrams I've seen say no, but I'm just curious.

How easy/hard is it to shorten a clutch cable?

I just put on the short bars and am curious to know how difficult (or easy?) it is to shorten the clutch cable to fit? Anyone done this? I've been able to find a short version of the brake cable and the throttle cable, but the clutch is rather hard to find.

Thanks in advance!

I contacted Sirius, who said they will promptly refund the money I spent without having me send them back the cable ... we'll see if that works out. In the meantime, curious to know how easy or difficult it would be to shorten an existing longer clutch cable? Right now the bike has the longer cable ...

Yeah I'm working on a '65 CB77. Drat, I guess I'll keep looking.
