Carb Insulators Install Direction?

Okay, I know take pictures, but I forgot...which direction do the carb insulators go? Side with rubber o-ring towards cylinder head? Since there is an o-ring on the carb, I figured that was correct, but wanted to ask the experts! Thanks!

CB77 Chainguard Fitment

Will a 1964 CB77 chainguard fit on a 1965 CB77 or are the shape or mounting points different?

The original handlebars have slots to take the wiring and the throttle mechanism. Originals come up on eBay occasionally but if you are handy you can use almost anything and cut those slots yourself. Looks like a nice project... Look forward to seeing your progress ! Took advice on here to redo one of the two rear shocks...went from hideous purple, to scuffed up black to shiny black! Came out nice, but was a pain to get the covers back on by myself! Also, got the purple paint off of the black t...
