Got the vin number, over looked it due to rust around it and it not being a very deep stamping. I couldnt.read it all that well do I took an etching with a pencil and paper.
Any clues as to the year? The number is 1041378.
What manuals to get were my next.question. thanks!

Cost is not an issue, it may take awhile to get it done depending on the money but my grandfather meant the world to.me and I have planned to.do this for 6 years. Yes, My plan is to have it exactly as it would have rolled off the line in 65, except for a color change.
