Just did a partial restore on my grandfathers ca77 and I replaced the coil and rectifier with parts off of ebay ( this could be my first problem) but after a week of riding the bike wouldn't turn over and upon inspection I noticed the coil was completely melted from the inside out? I got no resistan...

bike was found in my grandfathers garage after he passed away and grandma has no clue where the title would be at so that avenue came to a dead end quick. I appreciate the input though.

I restored mine and needed a new head lamp assembly as well, the origionals were sealed bulbs, go to http://www.charlies-place.com/index.html. they deal in vintage Honda parts. they cost 115.00 with shipping.

Can anyone help me determine what year my Dream was manufactured?
Engine ca77e 101 4000
Frame ca78 101 4054.
