The piece broke just as it makes a 90 degree. You have been helpful in giving me a couple of things to consider. Thinking that I may replace the complete thin strip. Not real high priority at the minute. The tires are rotting off. I really cringe at spending hundreds of $$$ to have them rot off again.

CA77 Battery box

My battery box has broken where a thin strip of metal makes up half of the slot where the side cover fits. Box appears to be welded in which makes replacement unlikely. Any solutions? The rusty piece is supposed to be up and attached to the battery box. The arrow indicates where the broken piece is ...

One important piece of information that I should have included with the turn signal switch is that it fits 3/4 " handlebars.

Here is a photo. I think I had one posted initially but gone now. Thanks for calling my attention to that problem.

Will also post a pic of a switch that appears to be a turn signal switch but is designed for the throttle side. May not be Honda.
