Nice bike! Watch that left front fork. Looks like you could be in for a stiff ride :-)

I'd bet that replica seat might be the problem for your tail light blowing fuses. If it's a real crappy design it might have worn the wires that run over/into the rear fender and are shorting.

Just my .02

Congrats on buying a hawk. They are a blast

With the bike running put your hand (don't touch the pipes!!) about ~4" away from the mufflers. Assuming both baffels are present or missing... Do you feel the same force of air coming from both pipes? If one side is weak it can be a sign that side isn't firing. This assuming you have a normal/stock...

Ok this may be redundant but after reading through most of the 24 pages of this thread I don't recall anyone asking if you ever checked the red spacers between the carbs and engine. The cables are not stock but are period aftermarket parts. The setup was on my '65. Bars are drilled an...

Baltimore Mods VS Rockers anyone going??

Check out the link. Cool little venue I went last year and it's a blast. Great way to meet the local scene.

The auction if I remember correctly the second time didn't have a reserve and started low. Now all of a sudden it has a reserve. Can't believe with 2 days to go it's at $4,150.
