I stopped by the local dealer and talked with the owner and his father is the person who owned the original dealership that the bike was purchased, and the bike still has that decal. The owner offered to purchase the bike, but it's not for sale, so he then offered to put it on display with a number ...

The one with the crush ring joining the two is a later style. Your other one fits to a plain header pipe with a rubber o-ring in between. G Thank you for the response. I called my father last night after reading your reply and he thinks he remembers replacing the mufflers one time before that (mid ...

This project has been delayed far too long, but is now complete. Found a brand new muffler in the OEM plastic that was purchased 30 years ago and needs to be swapped out for the right side unit. Pics

As mentioned I would post pics. Progress is slow, but continues. The headlight was bumped a little to hard and the glass broke and they are not easy to find replacements for. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y6/dtmackey/Random%20shots/08915E88-0C83-4780-BE09-9FB11A6FAEFE.jpg http://i2.photobucket.co...
