When I first bought my 1965 as a basket case and finally got it running, my clutch slipped too. I bought a new set of discs and installed them and that solved the problem. Suggest you try that--discs are pretty cheap for a set.

You'll probably need different main jets and needle jet settings at 5000 ft than you would at sea level. Thanks for the tip. Some eBay sellers from Singapore and Thailand have new seats listed for around $50 plus $85 shipping, so I could go that route for a grand total of $135. Anyone tried one of those Singapore/Thailand seats?
