I'll double check on the routing of the clutch cable so as the adjustment.
It's clearly not "Honda" smooth...
As for the Lithium battery, I believe that there is no danger if the charging voltage doesn't exceed 14 volts?
I did a quick check with the engine running and it seemed OK.

Do you still have the original cover?
My bike is one of the later models and it came with the later cover i.e. with the clutch cable moved forward.
I believe eitheir cover would work.
I found my cover on ebay after many months...

Here's the picture of my ( broken) side case.
I was lucky to find a replacement on ebay!

I need to replace my right side engine cover on my CB 77 with engine code CB 77E- 1051050.
I found one that has PN 11330-268-020 but apparently this will only fit CB 77s up to engine number 1002327?
Is that an issue?
Will that part fit all the same?
What could the problem be?
