I just worry it's going to look like a DONK with the wheels that large. We'll see how it pans out. As of right now I've put the brakes on this project until I finish some other higher priority bike stuff.Rider52 wrote:I like the 19" rear wheel, gives it an old time Brit bike look. Messing around some more in photoshop. I will probably fab up my own kickstand soon so I don't have to prop it up against stuff or have it sitting on the jack to keep from falling over. I think I can get a cl/cb350 one to work, just need to make a beefy bolt on mount. http://i732.photobucket.com/alb...
Made a quick roller yesterday with a 19" cl350 front wheel and a 19" rear cl77 wheel. The rear looks huge at the moment, but I think once an 18" is back there it should balance back out. http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww326/hatchethairy2/dreamhawk/100_4683_zpsb456dc4c.jpg Had to do a quick photo...

The necks are the same dimensions for the bearing races, cups, etc. The main problem was the lower fork lock tab welded to the hawk frame, and the taper of at the top of the neck. First I cut off the tab, then I flared the dust shield to fi...
Started tinkering on this one again. I took the front end off the cl77 frame I got out of my recent acquisition. The fork lowers are aluminum, and I really like the steering damper. I removed the old crusty lower boots off to find some amazingly clean surfaces. Not a speck of rust or corrosion! What...

Model year was commonly (but maybe not exclusively) based on date of sale. My bike is titled as a 1966 with serial ...

Any tips out there? It's been soaking in PB Blaster since I got it, and in transmission fluid for wh...
