Update: Removed the carb and cleaned the air bleed holes, the jets, and adjusted the float to 28 mm. Installed D6 plugs and it started right up to I adjusted the air mix and idle screws to a good sounding idle with both sides firing. I rode for about 30 min. with good power and no hesitations during...

I'm using the original style air cleaner that I bought last year. It looks a little dirty but very minimal but I did take some compressed air yesterday to blow out each fold. Are the tubes coming out of the two holes on the front left of the original style air filter suppose to attach to the anythin...

I did rebuild with a Keyster kit but ended up cleaning and putting in the original needle and jets back in. Do you think adjusting the float to 28 mm with solve the problem? I'm running out of ideas.

I took carb off again and it does click at the bottom so I think the cable is ok. I lowered the pin one position so it is in slot 2 from the top. I was able to get it to idle so I took the bike for about a 20 minute ride with both sides firing and it seemed to have full power. By the end of the ride...

Took everything apart again and put the slide back in so it seems to idle now but I'm still running rich (both plugs black and sooty). To answer loud mouse's question the slide is down as far as it will go but I'm not sure if it is all the way down. Can you describe what it should look like when loo...

Adjusted float height to 27mm, jets are 120, 35, and the needle is 22401, points clearance is .014, left needle in 3rd slot. Started engine and it revved high and remained revving high with no changes in idle when in turned the idle screw. Is the slide in wrong? How should it go in?, what is the cor...

I took the carb off and the needle is set at the middle or 3rd slot from the top. Should I move the needle up or down looking from the top of the needle? When measuring float height should I hold the float and measure the distance just as the tang hits the tit or let the float sit on the tit causing...
