Re: Wiring harness for winkers

Thanks! Good info! :) I just noticed on eBay auction 121696916335. It is a Dream wiring harness that looks like it has the wiring for adding winkers. It looks like it retains the original colors for all the wiring. Not a good choice for a concours restoration but, for a daily rider you could update ...

Hey, 48, I read your post late last night on my phone, but this morning it's gone. Thanks for offering, but it seems the deal is off the table?

Hope all's well.

Mine are 4mm 0.75 pitch. That's Unobtainium apparently. Would tapping for the .70 pitch work or just mess things up?

Welcome to the forum, fellow Bacon Lover. I've recently had to install one of my old CB750 coils on our Dream because the original coil was failing. The CB550 one should work as well. You can basically use any dual-fire ignition coil that has 12 Volts and 4-5 Ohms primary resistance. Google ignition...

Problem Solved! It was.... THE COIL! (Gasp!)

{If you follow my restoration thread , you can skip this post.} I just wanted to check in and say that I solved the problem, and it was not fuel related. It was a faulty coil. At present I'm running one of my CB750 coils, which were left over after I upgraded that bike to high-perf coils, a reg-rec,...

Problem Solved! It was.... THE COIL! (Gasp!)

So, since my last post, I am sad to say that nothing up until today worked to rid our Dream of it's bad attitude at idle. I do appreciate all of the help and advice during this frustrating troubleshooting chapter. But in the end it was a faulty coil. When it gets to a certain operating temperature i...

Re: Dream battery strap.

I had figured that, and I'm all for DIY and ingenuity. But I think it's hilarious that he actually expects people to fight over it. The current winning bidder will pay $22 for it with shipping! Probably thinks it's an actual Honda bike part. "It came like that." Makes me want to ask, "Is that for th...
