Thanks I will give that a try.

Any thoughts on adding a bit of heat to the nut? Any concern of damage if done carefully?

I am having a bear of a time with this same nut. I found the locking tab and got it out of the way, but the dang thing wont loosen. How much force do you think I can pound on this thing with and not break anything?

Guys, I am new here and just started to work on a 1967 305 Scrambler my dad has had stored away for awhile. The first issue we ran across is that the engine is seized. Oil looks good, but there was rust on top of the pistons so we purchased a product called Engine Release from http://www.seized-engi...
