Hi Darren,
I also live in Bristol and have restored a 1964 Dream to full UK spec it took about four years to get it done and I finished it about three years ago.
If you want to have a look at it and go over any things you are not sure about let me know.

It has taken me 4 years to finish this project and now it is done. I imported a CA77 from the USA and have turned into a C77 UK SPEC. Will CB77 Mufflers fit a ca77? CA mufflers are really expensive but I can buy CB77 mufflers here in the UK at a more reasonable price. They will look a bit more like the original than other cheap alternatives I have seen on E-Bay. I can make up adaptor brackets if needed to fit the frame differences...

On my motor the 4 rivets that are part of the cam sprocket assembly were slightly loose and gave a very similar ticking noise .
I just hammered them over a bit to tighten them.

CA77 one piece exhaust system

Are the split collars and the finned exhaust clamp on the one piece system different from the two part version ?
If so how do you know what to purchase ?
