FS-01E Electronic Ignition (for CL77) for sale

Hey guys, I have an electronic ignition set (probe engineering FS-01E) for sale for $200 (plus S&H). I installed a brand new electronic ignition from probe engineering on my 67 CL77. It worked great for about 100 miles or so. I ended up having to sale the bike, but before I did, I tried cranking one...

Found it!

Thanks for your help Rustywrench. I took it apart, cleaned it out, and now I have no flow issues at all. I never would've even thought to do that. Mad props and much obliged!

Re: Fuel Flow Issues

Hey guys, Is there anything else I should be looking for? Yes there is one thing to check. Your vents in the gas cap may be clogged. The cap does come apart and you will find air holes that get crusted over. I posted a thread on the subject a ways back. Rusty I've been searching for a while, and ca...

I put the bike back together, and it runs great, except it seems to have some fuel flow issues. When I first crank it, it runs great for a mile or two, then it starts acting like i...

I didn't take apart the clutch

We left that crankcase intact, but we did take the clutch cover off to replace some oil seals. Could it have come off without taking the clutch apart? I've already gasketed and closed the clutch cover back on the crankcase, but I have not filled it with oil yet. Can I take that cover off and reuse t...

Name that Part!!!

Hey guys, I have a 67 CL77 that is my first project, let alone my first motorcycle. I took the head apart to replace the gaskets and piston rings, then put it back together. While mounting the engine, I found this part, and can't figure out what it goes to. The engine is back together, so I'm hoping...
