now we are thinking that the black rubber breather/overflow tube is where the oil hiccuped out of. We have ran it in gear and it's just fine now from a leaky standpoint but the engine is running rough and sort of metalic clanky sounding. thanks conbs.....I dont think the tail light issue is related to the front. the tail light (outer plastic housing) is fine, the bulb inside was *just a bunch of dust and shards* when I took off the housing. So you can see why I think it *exploded* as there was no damage to the housing. I will check ...
