Cb77 ignition switch

Hello all, I just bought a 63 cb77. I have ordered a replacement key, but while I wait for it I would like to know how to bypass the ignition safely. QUESTION. The red (BAT) needs to connect to the Black (IG) for it to run, does the red and white (CH) have to be connected to the red (Bat) as well or...
