Also check that your float moves freely with no restrictions. If so you can bend it a little so it dosnt hang up.

Check out your gas line connection to your carb. I found that sometimes there is a screen there and after many years it rusts and clogs up, restricting the flow of gas.

I.m rebuilding a couple of cl77 carbs. I have four to chose from as far as parts. Im trying to use original honda parts, but I have two different slides. Chrome ones and black ones. Is better than the other and why.

I had the same problem. Try pulling the low speed idel jet. Look through it and see if you see light. Than look through the hole it goes intoand again see if you see light. If not I would take a piece of thin wire (like from a wire brush) and run it throuh both the jet and the hole it screws into. A...

I had a observation regarding the main jet holders. On the left side the jet holder has three holes on each side and two holes ate the bottom. On the right side the holder has the same three holes on each side, but has two holes on the top. I have a cl77. Does this difference make a difference? The ...

I raised the needle clip one notch. No good. It runs worse. I know their is a relationship between the high and slow systems. Is it possible that if the slow system is putting out too much fuel (but idels well) that when you crank the throttle the bike overloads and hesitates? Maybe I should start t...
