Can't separate float bowl from carb body

My carb probably hasn't been apart since leaving the factory and I can't separate the float bowl from the carb body. I've tried tapping with a hammer and pulling with whatever strength I have but the gasket won't release it's grip. Does anyone have any tips for softening the gasket or getting the pa...

I'm looking for ideas to try for removing phillips head screws that have been untouched since the bike left the factory 40 some odd years ago. I think the issue is dis-similar metals (aluminum engine and steel screws rather than corrosion. Anyway, I've tried soaking with WD40, tapping with a hammer ...

Oil leak

Oil is leaking from a gasket under the engine on my CB77. The gasket is under a cover which is held by 5 bolts and the drain plug screws into it. My question is, other than loosing the engine oil, is there any other problem I should be aware of in removing this cover? Also, can this gasket be ordere...
