1967 CL77 exhaust pipes

I would like to buy a nice set of exhaust pipes for my 1967 CL77. The VIN is CL77 1041031.
Please let me know what you have. I'm interested in either the welded-on muffler type or the type that uses the slip-on muffler, as long they fit.
I'm assuming my bike had the welded-on muffler type. Thanks.

Honda cl77 fork boots

Hi, I have a 1967 cl77 with frame number cl77 1041031 and engine number cl77e 1040990. I need to replace the fork boots and would like to get the correct ones. It appears that part number 51611-273-010 is the proper boot for frames 1014496 to 1043096. These are not available in reproduction evidentl...

baffles for cl77

I just purchased a 1967 cl77 a few months ago. Normally it would have a welded-on muffler. This bike has a make shift slip-on muffler that doesn't work well (it leaks). I attempted to install a NOS slip-on muffler but the pipes appear to be too short. Once the muffler is slipped on the exhaust pipe,...

recommended motor oil for CL77

Hi, I have several CL77s and really love these bikes. I believe the manufacturer's original recommendation for motor oil was 30 weight non-detergent, which is what I have used over the years. A couple of years ago I asked my Honda dealer what he recommended and he said 10/40 weight detergent. The 30...

returning to idle

I have a 1968 Honda CL77 with the following problem - when revving the motor with the bike out of gear and at rest, the return to idle speed is very slow - sometimes 10 to 15 seconds -
any good solution for this?
Thanks.
