65mm is what I was told they used.
They have 65 and 65.5 stock replacement pistons for the 350 on their site here:

I just pinged Bill again to see if there are any updates on the 358 engine they were building. I'll see if I can post details when I get them.

@nc_rider - the rims are marked Takasago - I think they're pretty common on eBay these days. The guy I got this from had bought a bunch of stuff on eBay - rims, pistons, ignition points - kinda haphazard, but I'm sure they'll come in handy. I'll post pictures of the head later tonight, still waiting...
Thanks for the pointers to the NC30. In fact, there's a gear assembly for one on UK eBay right now: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-VFR-400-NC30-cam-gears-drive-train-frnt-cyl-/200502269541 The interesting part would be finding a way to hold the idler in place while (hopefully) allowing for a little ecc...
Gear Driven -- cams, primaryJust doing some thinking here while my engine sits in evapo-rust. I see on the 500cc CB77 thread Jerry in Australia uses a gear-driven primary. Is this a one-off or does someone make a kit? I suppose custom would work well, as it's probably a custom dry clutch as well. Also, replacing the cam-chain ...
the weathered engine teardownThis is a thread to document the teardown of a really corroded CB77 engine. If I get it all apart, and maybe find a donor engine, there will be a thread on the rebuild. Basically, a cautionary tale of how bad it can get - I know there are worse, but this one is mine ;-) Here goes. As I got it: http:...
Good call on the grease gun. I had seen that reference elsewhere, but couldn't figure out a clean way to do it. Most of the time they call for making a zerk adapter from and old sparkplug, and I think that would work, but you'd have to use the top crankcase cover to hold everything together after you...
