before someone asks.... it is the throttle valve that I can slide up and down (not the venturi) until it hits the sticking point...

OK, Still no luck in getting this disassembled after 3/4 can of carb cleaner and 1/4 can of WD-40. Basically, I can freely slide the venturi up and down in the top cylinder. As I slide it upwards it stops right as the top of the venturi gets to the top of the cylinder. I can look through both ends o...

OK, Thanks Dave, I will try a little more pressure, I didn't want to pull to hard once I got resistance until confirming that it should pull out....will update in a few.... Thanks, Jim

I am trying to remove my CA77 carburator for a rebuild. I removed the air filter hose and unbolted the carb from the body and have slid off of the studs and dropped down the carb. Next, I unscrewed the top of the carb where the trottle cable enters. I though this would just pull right out, but it fe...

Air Filter for ca77

I am just pulling out my machine for spring an found that a mouse crawled into my air filter pocket an made a nice winter nest, destroying my air filter in the process. I can't seem to find any replacements on line. I'm not looking for NOS, just a replacement filter. Any recomendations on suppliers ...
