Thank You for the help. I found one at a lawn mower repair shop. It's a carb bowl gasket .

I took my oil filter apart to clean it and the O ring is broken . Where can you find a replacement and will it cause an oil pressure drop or damage to run the engine with out it? thanks Chris

I just started it up, warmed it up and listened again, the top end and bottom end sound fine . The noise seems to coming from the area around the kick start.
