restoration basics, need some help
I have a lot of bikes but have never done a total cosmetic restoration. I have a ca160 that I have started on and do not want to do everything the hard or wrong way. Is there a source for restoration technique basics? Would anyone like to share some expertise to the novices around?

I just purchased a CA160 in OK cosmetic condition and unknown mechanical condition (engine turns over) I am in the process of breaking the bike down for a cleaning/inspection etc. How do I get the rubber knee guards off of the tank without destroying them, there is a bit or rust around them that I a...
