Anyway, I've had better luck selling bikes on eBay when I used a reserve and started the bidding at $100.

Hi Phil -- I have it on good authority that the tail lamp/plate bracket is/was silver to match fenders.

hmmm ... red or black center stand on a red CB77 ... memory says red.

davemoto, when you said my colors are correct, did that include the red center stand? Maybe later models went to black stands?

... and tuck the condensor wire out of sight :-) You'll see that the head fins are notched just inboard of the R/H carb, and then the wire was stuffed between two fins just above the intake to route it to the points cover. Thanks, Phil, Bettancourt's, of course. My bike has been re-painted and needs it again. As I recall for this vintage (VIN 311580), the forks, center stand, tool box, and chain guard, were all the same as the frame (along with tank, etc.).
