thanks, also to be sure would that be the wire from the ignition to the coil (black) ot the wire from the coil to the points and condenser (green)?

and as per the wiring diagram i have it doesnt have one. ive looked around a couple places and it seems like most just throw the positive side of the coil to ground. is this correct or is there a better way to do this?

ahhh sorry about that, i though i was in the CA77 section.

ahhhh thats it, it was kind of hiding there in that parts manual picture. well back to work, i just wish it wasnt so cold out now.

ive been piecing together a CA77 from boxes and ive come across this part that i cannot find in the parts manual at all. it was in the same bag as the magnetic starter switch (the one under the right side cover) but for the life of me i cant figure out what it is. any help would be greatly appreciat...

yeah they have it but like you said 20 dollar min. and also they dont accept cards, just checks and M/O.

or if someone could tell me if i can just use a regular bolt in this application its
