What type of sealant do you recommend?

And is it possible to remove and re-install the crank shaft oil seal without taking the cases apart.. leaving the motor intact and on the bike???

I have a 65 cb77 with 305cc motor... i recently had ed moore redo my transmission along with a new clutch basket all that. Thanks for your response. I tried just about everything to get it moving. Ended up taking the motor out to have a look at the transmission. Turned out, I sheared off a tooth to one of the gears in the accident, as well as shattering one of those U-shaped clips, and marring two other gears... Any ide...
