Any one have a spare set of pistons that want to get rid of? I need +.50mm oversized. I have rings, but could also use wrist pins.

What was the outcome of the crack checking?

Wondering what the outcome was... I have (or had) the same problem, also on the right cylinder with no problem on the left. My friend and I are considering making some of these seats to sell. They would come ready to bolt on and would have a fiberglass base, urethane foam, and vinyl cover (similar to mine). I thought about putting a front fender on it before I had it out of the shop, but decided not to in order to save time and get riding. But now that it is together, I think I'll leave it just the way it is. Thanks,

The seat is one of the few things I didn't do by myself. My friend did all of the foam and cover work. As for the seat pan we laid down a couple layers of masking tape over the bike and covered the rest in clear plastic then put down 3 or 4 layers of fiberglass. Here it is with the completed seat

Just got the seat finished up yesterday. the old shocks are back on there again until the paint on the other one's is dry.
