I would expect the unloaded AC output of the Dream generator to be in the typical range (45-70) as it too is charging a 12 volt battery.

Don,

Maybe the best approach here is to ask you what the charging problem on the Dream is. It would be easy enough then to understand why the MOSFET rectifier/regulator may or will not be your solution.

Don,
The potential output of the AC generator is primarily a factor of engine rpm's. To achieve maximum output all the time your engine rpm's would have to be about 4,000 or so all the time.
