Hi again all, Does anyone have any information on performing a 5 or 6 spd conversion? I know that there are commercially made boxes available and am not interested in spending 2K on one of these. Can a cb350K 5spd be fitted, or a 6 spd from a cb400/4? Anyone doctored up a successful conversion befor...

Theres the inspiration! I have seen this bike raced on a number of occasions last year, it is brutally fast. I am not planning on going down the same extreme route, but figure a 500 project would be great fun.

It would be for our (Australia) Classic Class - known as period 3, 1946 to 62. The major components must have been made during this time, or be parts manufactured later, but that existed during this period (and that are identical in appearance).
