1967 cl77 rear sprocket

Need help with rear sprocket installation, on late model hub. Sprocket has a recess that either fits over the hub, or faces out with the dust cover installed in it. Do not know which way to install. Manual shows dust cover on outside of sprocket, but does not show the recess.

The muffler is a slip on,with rubber gasket.
Looking for a source for 2nd over piston rings,and control cables.

Just picked the bike up this afternoon,and it does have a hole in the chain guard near the shock.This appears to have been put in by the factory,thou it is cracked thru the thin portion at the bottom.Still not sure what I have here,chrome fenders,side covers,chain guard and tool canister.The tank ha...
