Well, I had no luck. I actually cut an access port in the case (since you can't see it installed) to clean and lubercate. The wierd part is the way it drives the needle. Its almost like a flywheel in a cover that lets friction "slip". I noticed that a heavy oil it read way too high, and a light oil ...

Thailand Ebay Seats

Well, as it stands I have 2 CB77 resto's to do this winter so I am starting my parts pile. Both have junk seats, one would be a salvageable recover, but the other is entirely wrong. My question is this, has anyone tried those re-pop complete seats on ebay? Shoot, for the price they look really nice....

My question is do they hold up though? If you spill oil, do they wipe off. Do they corrode easily, or turn colors with heat?

From what I've red it doesn't disturb the surfaces protective coating (clear anodize) so that would mean they are basically restored back to factory new correct?

I've got the same picture I saved many years ago too. The guy RRbyrne (not sure of spelling) that makes the repop's didn't recognize them, and he seemingly knows the badges very well. I had relly questioned if these were the correct ones for my CA77, but he told me "305" badges didn't exsist...........
