In the carb itself? Don't think so. There's a gauze in the tap but it doesn't seem to be doing the job.

Good tips, unfortunately I had to use a bit of force to get mine on, I've got David Silver exhaust headers and they're not quite the same profile as the originals and hang slightly lower, not much I can do about that - take the choice and use some force or only use the rear mounting point.

All the anodised ones I've found have been 6mm, and I've got 5.5mm fuel pipe.... I ain't paying a tenner each anyway.

Fuel Filters

Anybody know where (UK preferably) I can get some 5.5mm fuel filters? My needles are getting blocked from tank gunk (I think).

I've found some on ebay but I'd like some smaller ones if possible, the one on my RD is hardly noticeable, these are going to be in plain view :-(

Thanks

First ride - no MOT so *cough* it was on a private road.... Started on the button, but after a few minutes of warming up petrol started leaking out of the overflows *again*. Draining the bowl and flushing through some petrol seemed to fix it so it looks like the fuel tap filter isn't catching everyt...

Didn't realise that the taper bearings needed a spacer as well. In the end I spent quite a lot of time tweaking the steering head bearings before realising that the short bolt that locks the axle to the mudguard had wrecked the thread in the brake hub, and was moving around and causing the front end...

Ah, now that ssh-750 code is bloody useful as I can now hunt for the cheapest supplier in the UK - Thanks. Might not need it yet but I'm having real trouble adjusting the plain bearing that's in there now and I never usually have a problem and prefer tapers. For future reference SSH-750 fits a large...
