Man-- I've had new plugs, sanded off old ones, etc. The spark looks good when I take it out. Thing just wont start. couple huffs and puffs when getting on the starter for a while, but nothing more.

I should note that one of the slides in the right carb was particularly hard to get into the carb. However once its seated down in there, it seems to move freely, but when trying to get it in the top, I had to jam it in there, felt like it was slightly too big for the shaft. I have good visible spark on both cylinders, and the timing is perfect. I'm no expert, but I've got 5 or 6 old bikes running in the last 2 years, and this one is really stumping me.

it doesnt want to go with the kicker either. the problem has gotten worse, where now sometimes it doesnt want to start at all. I rebuilt the petcock and the carbs. Any ideas?

Can anyone help me out? Sometimes it starts right up, but most of the time it takes a few minutes to get it going. Just putters for a while, and then suddenly starts right up. Any ideas? Is it getting flooded somehow while sitting?
