That is the way I installed the carb slide, although thanks for the info so I know it's correct. Next I'm gonna take apart the throttle at the grip as I had dissasmbled it a few times inpsecting the starter button and when the carb was removed and then re-installed it may need to be rechecked or adj...

I just did your jump the starter test and yes the starter cranks over fine. Thanks for the tip! Do you have the ability to add some pics of your starter relay contact points? I just opened mine up and the copper contact points looks clean as a whistle.
