That bike has an incorrect shift lever. It looks like it's from a SL Honda. A piece of rubber hose can be cut and slid over the stock lever end, I've bought a coule of bikes where the PO had done it. davomoto Thanks for the info. S100 and a good scrub brush will do a good job. I worked in a Harley shop back then, and I remember that gunk. It had some nasty chemicals, that have surely been banned by the EPA.
