If you install reproduction handlebar mounts, the mirror mounting holes are 10mm and not 8mm. Is there an adapter to reinstall Honda OEM style mirrors?

I think Cliff has it - I myself have a 67 CP77 that has ZERO difference from any other CB77 I've seen AND it has turn signals.

I once had a self proclaimed expert tell me that my CP77 should have a steering stabilizer shock, but there are no signs of mine ever having one of these.

My mistake - I meant the hydraulic 'shock' damper on the right side. I've been told by an 'expert' that all CP's should have this.

Someone must have removed the hydraudlic piece and mounts at some time then. I'll be hunting that now I suppose.

Thanks for the reply. I did get a story from the previous owner that his uncle from Canada got the bike new in Europe, rode it around there, then brought it home. I found it in pieces at a Car Show flea market (with title). I spent more money in replacement chrome parts than I did for the entire bik...

I did not take the rockers the entire way out. The cam sprocket issue sounds like it could be serious!
