Thanks Superchicken- yeah, there isn't even one there. Really, the only parts of the electrical/charging system I have is the starter, a worn out condensor, and a set of points in need of replacement. Solenoid Replacement ?

Hey guys I'm ready to move past the planning stage of rewiring a 65 CA77... I'm wondering if anyone could tell me a little about replacing my starter solenoid? I have not ties to keep it original, but I'm really unsure if there is much difference? Anyone have any suggestions for a generic or a sourc...

Thanks, SuperChicken. Good to know - that was the one thing in the whole system that I didn't really know how to replace. Does anyone know a source for a a new combo switch? Or a good replacement?

'65 CA77 Dream is Electrical Nightmare.... Ugk.

Hello - I just picked up a 65 CA77. Turns out, I think it was victim of a vulture that has managed to get away with most of the electrical system. So I'm in the process of replacing everything - the rectifier, the condensor (there's one there, but it's lookin rough), the entire harness... whole kit ...
