Thanks guys, The guy gave me the motor when he heard I was thinking about putting together a vintage racer. He also said he has another identical motor that he will bring when he can dig it out. He also gave me a non running 1970 cb450 with a spare motor. which of these might be the better candidate...

I was just given an engine with the casting code cl77e 1016400. I have'nt had time to search the database yet and was hoping that someone might help me with id.
