thanks! the bars are just inexpensive 7/8 inch drag bars($20 on eBay). they don't have the slot in the twist grip side, so i used a universal twist grip assembly from a triumph/BSA (also $20 on eBay) the best twist grip to use would be from a superhawk(CB77) or a scrambler(CL77) it has the matching button for the starter. otherwise you need to use a universal triumph/BSA horn button, or something similar for the starter button. i just drilled holes in the bars big enough to run the original wiring. i rerouted the original length cables any way i could for them to work, but i've been looking for someone with a solder pot that can effectively shorten them a bit (so far no luck).mattomoto wrote:Hey Bigscooter-
I love your blue bike. I just got a restorer- black CA77 '65 vintage. Where did you get the flat bars and did you have to do a bunch of modification to them? Also, what cables did you use for that bar?

while riding, the bars feel pretty cool, and are quite comfortable.
