VickyBlue's 66 CA77I do not know what's going on here Randy... Frame CA7810104364 Motor CA77E1014193 As far as the muffler/swing arm issue, had no idea... will look at the on line manual and will fix it. Thanks for pointing it out. Both cables are on order. Thanks again LM for the 020 clutch plates. After opening the side cover, everything was stuck, plates and discs. New plates, new white springs, new cable, clutch works like new again. Cleaned up the chain and the chain cover, put new rear shock bushings, fabricated and welded a new exhaust bracket and suspension is back to normal again. The hardest thing was to remove the side cover screws, some yahoo had stripped them all but two... I turned it into a race motor LM...
Put new oil, cleaned up the oil pump, used 0000 steel wool and cleaned up the rear hub and rim, it shined up nice! Fixed the neutral light, cleaned up the wiring inside the headlight bucket, high beam works, ordered a new speedo cable and waiting for the petcock kit. Tank looks brand new inside, petcock screws were lose and easy to remove. Gasket was hard as rock, screen was clean, but had seen better days. The carburetor was sent to LM for some TLC, should be back sometime next week. The Add Attachment does not work for me... otherwise I would post lots of pictures. Tried as low as 250kb files but all I got was "tried to upload an empty file" something that dates back to 2011 apparently... LM took the carburetor to the next level... Unbelievable recondition. Best $50 I have ever spent. Got me a new slider, as mine was beyond repair. It came back to me as a brand new carburetor... Shame I can't post pictures here. Right out of the box it started with second kick. Pet cock kit works fine, no leaks, I modified the headlight with an LED light bulb and now I have working lights. I had to leave for work and didn't have time to test drive it, but I should be able to do it tomorrow. This will be my first ride since I got her home last August... I let her idle on the kick stand for a good 30 min, clutch works good, no leaks, will check timing and go from there. Need to make a bracket to secure the battery, got me a used tool kit, some new plugs and plug boots, I love how it sounds and how easy it revs up...
Thanks again LM... Took a rear cargo rack from a Honda trail and made it to work on my Dream... Not a direct fit, but nothing you can't do with a welder, a grinder and some paint.
