Yes. I think those numbers are fine. The only fly in the ointment I can think of is the possibility that the insulation may behave well at the low voltage of an ohm meter but fail at high voltage. However, I would consider this to be an outside possibility.

According to the instructions that came with the Probe CB72/77 ignitions, the stock coils are "about 4.5 ohms". I can not find any info regarding this in the factory shop manual. Regards, Chase
